This is the story of the Chesley ‘Sully’ Sullenberger’s real life Miracle on the Hudson. Back in 2009 he piloted his disabled U.S. Airways Flight 1549 to a landing on the Hudson River in  NY without a single fatality.  It stars Tom Hanks and was directed by Clint Eastwood.  Obviously this covers a lot more than just the landing and it does it well. Tom’s performance will surely be up for Oscar consideration and, even though my politics are different than Clint’s, Mr. Eastwood delivers the goods.  One of the things I have always liked about Clint is that he swings for the fences. This one is a home run and I rate it a large popcorn.
